Escape From the Silence

adventure

Waking up after the world ended

Escape From the Silence is a point-and-click escape adventure from Bedevil Games. You wake from cryosleep decades later to find people gone and nature taking the world back. What happened, and how you get out, is the puzzle.

How it plays

Click to look around, pick things up and use them. Progress comes from solving puzzles with what you find — searching for supplies, crafting tools and combining items until something opens the way forward.

When you are stuck

Escape games stall on one missed detail more often than on a hard puzzle. Before looking anything up, go back through every area you have opened and click everything again, especially places that looked empty the first time. If an item will not work where you expect, try it on other objects too: the game is about finding the right pairing, not the obvious one.

If you still need help, the developer publishes walkthroughs on bedevilgames.com.

The series

Bedevil Games also made Escape From The Silence 2: A New Beginning, set in an abandoned train station where you repair a locomotive. This page is the first game.

Facts on this page come from the developer's itch.io page and website. The stuck-in-a-room advice is ours.
